Kevin Harrington
Kevin Harrington
Founder & Chairman

Kevin Harrington is a seasoned entrepreneur and business executive known for his expertise in direct response marketing. In the early ’80’s, noticing cable channels running dead air overnight, he invented the infomercial to fill it — and built Quantum International and merged into a NY stock exchange public company, the first to take the format global across more than 100 countries. His HSN Direct joint venture with the Home Shopping Network grew to hundreds of millions in sales, and as owner of the As Seen on TV brand he brought products to market with icons like Jack LaLanne, George Foreman and Tony Little. As one of the original “Sharks” on the hit TV show “Shark Tank,” Kevin has been a pioneer of direct-to-consumer sales for over four decades, launching 20+ businesses that have generated over $10 billion in sales worldwide. A co-founder of the Electronic Retailers Association and a founding board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, and the author of Act Now! and Mentor to Millions, Kevin remains a sought-after business partner and mentor, putting four decades of relationships, distribution, and commercialization behind emerging brands.

He co-founded Quantum Marketing with his brother and business partner of 35 years, Kevin Harrington, on a $75,000 investment generating $50 million in sales the first year, then merged it into NYSE-listed National Media Corporation, where the two ran the company and grew it from $20 million in sales to a $500 million market cap in three years — and made it the first company to launch infomercials globally, opening distribution in more than 100 countries. He co-founded HSN Direct, a joint venture with the Home Shopping Network that grew to hundreds of millions in sales. Across the partnership, he and Kevin funded and launched more than 1,000 products totaling over $10 billion in sales.
